This inner flame was kindled by you. Therefore the Encounter media workshop is thanking all of you, who have actively worked and supported us this year, read and followed our media. Because of you, we can look back on an eventful 2020 with wonderful encounters.
Despite the extraordinary situation our network was able to carry out many activities and it still continued to grow. The highlights of 2020: The second issue of the Encounter Magazine was published and distributed in different districts of Berlin. It was even possible to hold workshops and events by minding the hygiene and distance regulations in the libraries, such as the urban gardening workshop in the library gardens or the children workshop “How big is your monster?”.
Now, however, digital platforms have also become an important place for our encounters and we have been able to implement beautiful formats such as:
- the workshop series “the art of storytelling”
- the film workshop “Kiezstories”
- the storyteller and illustrator workshop “Picturing Encounters”
- the photography workshop “Womxn and Leadership” with an exhibition opening
We wish you and your family a peaceful end of the year and more wonderful encounters in 2021 and we are hoping to see you again soon.
In the new year it is still our goal to continuously create interesting contributions with you. In the meantime we encourage you to visit our blog www.encounter-blog.com and get inspired. We are currently working on the third issue of our print magazine which will be published in spring 2021.
