Mich überkam unendliche Freude.
Es war so heiß in letzter Zeit.
The watermelon together with the salty ocean water left a magic summer taste in my
mouth.
My eyes were though not so happy with that saltiness.
Salt and eyes were never meant to be friends; not like mouth and watermelon, which
I was so obsessed about now.
It seemed as if its seeds were its freckles! We actually looked alike!
Als Ingenieurin hatte es mich stets fasziniert, wie sich geometrische Strukturen
spiegeln. Punkte, Linien, Oberflächen.
But the longer I looked at the watermelon, which had been sitting there for too long
now, the more I thought its seeds actually resembled flies. Igitt!

Those dark points seemed to look back at me now, buzzing and ready to fly out.
Why did I choose to be an engineer when they also offered me the option to be a witch?
There are these hot, salty, sticky moments in one’s life, when imaginary flies stareback at you and make you question your life choices:
Who am I?
What am I doing here and why?
Tief in meinem Inneren wusste ich allerdings: Ich bin, wer ich bin, am richtigen Ort,
zur richtigen Zeit und alles, wirklich alles, ergibt einen Sinn.
Nankurunaisa.
